Details: Magnum needs a loan home! He is the sweetest horse I have ever come across in the stable but due to physical issues he is just not happy being worked in the school, and would love a hacking home with an experienced rider. He was bought for my inexperienced sister to showjump and this we have now accepted will never happen. The vet suspects that at some point in his past he has broken his sacro-illiac joint and he gets very tense in the school - circles/lateral work and jumping are more than he can cope with. We have had him at an 'equine rehabilitation yard' for 5 months, and even though they have done lots of work to strengthen his back and increase his core stability he is still not happy in a schooling environment. He loves his hacking work and would get very bored doing nothing so we hope to find a loving, careful home for him where he can be hacked out and perhaps do low level endurance rides.
