Due to an injury my current sharer is having to give up riding I am looking to find a sharer for my gorgeous 15.3hh cob gelding. He is kept on DIY livery in Chapel Brampton. The yard has a floodlit ménage with the use of jumps and is close to Harlestone Firs and a network of bridleways.
I am looking for a sharer to have care of my horse for a minimum of three days a week (two during the week and one at weekends). You would be responsible for either turning out or bringing in (the yard do the other by prior arrangement), grooming, exercising, mucking out, haynets and water (the yard do the feeding). Poo picking in the field is also expected by the yard on a weekly basis but there is a machine available to assist with this.
Whilst I only really hack and school my horse I am happy for a sharer to compete with him (at their expense) should they wish to do so.
Although he is safe I wouldn’t consider my horse a novice ride and I am therefore looking for someone with considerable riding and stable management experience. He is a very kind and loving horse who is easy to do and has no vices.
A financial contribution towards the horses keep is required.
Alternatively I may consider a loan until December 2010 after which point I would be happy to share.
If you are interested and would like to know more please contact me.
