Details: Hi, I'm looking for a horse share within 10 miles of Effingham, Surrey. It would be mainly for weekends and some evenings plus perhaps the occasional weekday. I am looking for an affectionate horse between 14.0 hh- 15.2 hh, good in traffic, forward going, responsive, fun but sensible, aged 6 or over and suitable for a competent novice/intermediate. I'm particularly interested in an Appaloosa, quarter horse, Morgan, Connemara, Arab X or similar as ideally I'd like to try Endurance, as well as hacking/schooling, if that were an option (but I dont want to be too prescriptive!). I've been hacking periodically as an adult for some years at a riding stables, and on trail-riding holidays, and am eager to expand my experience prior to purchasing my own horse. So, schooling and off-road hacking facilities nearby are important. In return I can offer practical support at local shows and events, exercising, some stable duties, and a modest financial contribution.
